Acadian Wax Museum

The museum open from June until Sept. has 86 figures in 23 scenes representing Acadia from 1604 to 1761, from the first to arrive on the continent to the return of the Acadians deported in 1755. 50 min.visit with audio guide (French, English and German). Le Festival acadien de Caraquet

Ranked among the major top 100 tourist events in North America. More than 200 Acadian and francophone singers, musicians, actors, dancers, visual artists and writers will gather in August. The blessing of the fleet, outdoor concerts, folk celebrations, cabarets, family concerts, theatre, classical concerts, musical fireworks and the famous Tintamarre marking the national day on August 15, combine to make Caraquet's Festival acadien the largest annual celebration of Acadian culture.
