The New Brunswick Botanical Garden

Spread over an area of seven hectares (17 acres), it is a haven of relaxation and a centre for the study of nature in all its beauty and color. Over 80,000 plants are represented – Roses, rhododendrons, luxuriant annuals and perennials offers a symphony of colors and perfumes. Stroll through the arboretum and to the edge of the blooming stream, to the harmonious sounds of Bach, Mozart and Vivaldi. Free parking, restaurant, gift shop and guide service available.

De la République Provincial Park

A Gateway Activity Site. Camping, Antique Automobile Museum, pool, tennis and more. Next to the New Brunswick Botanical Garden. Les Jardins de la République Provincial Park is a unique recreational facility, settled on the beautiful banks of the Madawaska River in northwestern New Brunswick. This Park 8 km(five miles) North of Edmundston on Route 2, offers 44 hectares of first class facilities.

Salon du Livre

An annual show to promote reading by exposing the public to local, national and international works. Each year, some 5,000 visitors take part in this 4 day event that also draws publishing houses and authors.


Salon de la Forêt

A unique fair with over 60 demonstrations and activities presented by members of the forestry industry. An educational and interactive experience for the whole family.

La Foire Brayonne

An Internationally renowned event this festival offers 3 main programs: concerts, cultural activities and sports events. The Foire Brayonne occupies the hearts of Brayons and Brayonnes, celebrating their francophone heritage, culture and joie de vivre. Recognized as a cultural birthplace, the biggest Francophone festival outside Québec, is one of the most vibrant and dynamic cultural manifestations in New Brunswick.



Madawaska Regional Fair

This 4 day agricultural fair highlights the region's natural resources, wildlife, and more. It features riding and dairy animal competitions, commercial exhibits and other family activities.



Festival Jazz & Blues d'Edmundston

4 days of live performances of the best Jazz & Blues with Artists from the Maritimes and across Canada.
