The Hopewell Rocks
131 ch. Discovery Rd. Hopewell Cape, NB
At low tide, explore quiet coves with flowerpot-shaped rock formations bearing such curious names as 'Mother-in-Law', 'ET' and 'Lover's Arch'. Then, as the tide gently shifts, experience the wonder of nature as 100-billion tonnes of salt-water slowly fills the Bay of Fundy.
These are the highest tides in the world. And they happen twice a day....every day.
The Hopewell Rocks is a place to pause…a place to appreciate a remarkable story interwoven through time, tide, and the intricacies of nature.

Albert County Museum
3940 Route 114, Hopewell Cape NB
Canada's 11th Prime Minister, R.B. Bennett, came from Albert County, along with a colorful procession of pioneers, artisans, explorers, shipbuilders, farmers, a few charlatans and one convicted axe murderer.
They all live on at the Albert County Museum.
They are a genuine slice of New Brunswick, not a reconstruction. Two buildings, the County Gaol and the old Municipal Building were built in 1845. A third, the County Court House, was destroyed by fire and rebuilt in 1904. This site was the centre of community life in Albert County for well over a century before becoming a museum in 1962.
